I would be absolutely, truly…elatedly thrilled and honored to come to your school and hang out with the kids! And by ‘hang out’ I mean explore the wild panorama of the imagination, dive into the heads of some pretty cool characters, twist and toss and sew together a few words to see how they run, play those kind of trickster games where you’re having too much fun to realize that you’re actually learning something…and most importantly laugh. There are a few different ways we can get together. We can hang out for a half day or a full day of workshoppin’ or maybe you’d just like me to take over your gymnasium for an hour for a Rockstar Reading! It’s totally up to you.
But you need to know that these are no ordinary, run of the mill, bologna sandwich get togethers. We’re talkin’ props, costumes, videos, storytelling, games, lame jokes, lunch parties, pencil races and…gasp!…the potential to fall truly, madly and deeply in love with writing! OMG!

While I do engage students in the mechanics of Kreative writing such as character and plot development, my true focus is on freeing the imagination and inspiring the students to feel confident in their own, unique Voice. Claiming your Voice, your particular style, your You is the single most important destination of any writer and, dare I say…any person.
Rock Star Reading – $375.00
The lights go to black. The video begins, an action packed, suspenseful thrill ride that gets the kids’ hearts pumping. When it ends, they crane their necks looking for me, still squinting in the dark while the music builds in excitement. Little do they know that I’m hiding in their gymnasium storage closet, waiting to ‘pounce’ (okay not pounce exactly, but seriously surprise the toques off ‘em). The music swells…more craning…Then they see something…a glowing lantern, weaving its way toward them…a flowing, red cloak…woah!…by the time I arrive at the front and the music has shifted into a disco-fied celebration, they are with me and I am with them. We are Rockstarrin’ a Groove! And we launch into a theatrical multi-media extravaganza that usually ends up with that whole mobbing/autographing of shoes and hands and binders and urgently collected scraps of tissue thing I mentioned earlier.
It’s super fun!
Oh yeah, and I think it’s done best with a maximum of 300 kidlets.
Half Day Kreatify Workshop- $575.00
This is a scrumpdillyishus treat that begins with a Rock Star Reading, again up to 300 kids. And then, me ‘n about 50 rockstars get to dive into a 45 minute smorgasbord of Kreatifyin’.
It’s super fun, too. And I’m not just sayin’ that.
Full day Kreatify Workshop- $850.00
In this supercallafraglistic uncut, full-meal-deal whole day of frolic, we will start of with a Rock Star Reading. After the reading, we head into party mode where I meet ‘n greet students and staff over lunchtime, signing all those fancy posters and bookmarks y’all downloaded for free . And then, we butter it up with two 45 minute Kreatifyin’ Klasses that will have their pencils leaping into the great wide open fields of imagination.
Aaaaaaahhhh….I love it.

La creme de la creme, folks! This is where the Big Shot Wordsmiths hang! A gargantuan eight weeks of supreme Kreatifyin’ for the Kidlets. These young authors will kick start their creative juices with ideas and topics; learn how to write and illustrate their very own 20 page picture book; create a mock up, grasp the how-to’s of publishing and then their completed stories, their babies, their masterpieces will be professionally published by Kreatify Publishing Inc !!
